Since its founding as Kashima Nippon Stainless Steel Corporation in 1968, this plant has for many years manufactured cold-finished stainless steel sheet and strip as a stainless steel cold strip mill. It makes use of the high-grade manufacturing technologies that it developed as a base for stainless steel sheet and strip manufacturing in a large number of product areas.
